Hello everyone,
Happy 2013!! I hope everybody had a safe & fun New Years celebration. I thought I'd bring in the new year with a quick update here on DA! I just finished adding 10 new items to my gallery for you all to check out. The 1st two additions to my collection are 2 pieces or original comic book artwork that I recently acquired. 1st one is a great Mike Collins page from the awesome Peter Cannon : Thunderbolt series he wrote & drew for DC back in the early 90's. The 2nd one is a terrific page from the Visitor vs the Valiant Universe limited series & features one of my favorite characters, X-O Manowar. This page was drawn by Bryan Hitch and inked by the legendary Dick Giordano! Next, I added 5 more of my original cover recreations/commissions that I had done by artist Greg Woronchak (see link below for Greg's page). Finally, I added 3 pages (from my Woronchak originals) that I colored myself. Hope you all enjoy the new additions to my collection as much as I do. Just a short update to bring to your attention the 3 newest additions to my collection. I just uploaded them to my DeviantArt gallery, so take a moment to check them out & leave a comment if you like.

They are...
A page of original art by Craig Rousseau from the Ronin Hood of the 47 Samurai graphic novel,
a page of original art by Jack Herbert from the Black Terror series and
a rare find that I'm very excited to have, a page of original art by legends Gil Kane (pencils) & Dick Giordano (inks) from the Atari Force limited series of "mini" comics that were inserted in & sold with Atari 2600 video games in the early 80's.

I just finished updating my page with 25+ new deviations from my collection! I hope you take time to go through my gallery and check them out (leave a comment if you wish!)

The work shown in this newest update comes from 2 places. The 1st is a batch of 11" x 17" commissions & cover recreations that I had produced by artist Greg Woronchak .

The second batch is a pair of 'blank cover' commissions from a pair of most AWESOMELY talented individuals… Comfort Love & Adam Withers -     
If you are not familiar with the husband & wife dynamic duo, then you need to get your butt in gear and check out their AMAZING self published series' The Uniques and Rainbow in the Dark (available in paper & digital at www.comfortandadam.com ). Thank you again Adam & Comfort for doing these great original covers for me!

Another bit of business today, I have thought long & hard over whether to throw some of my own artwork on here as I had originally planned to use my page to highlight some great pieces from my personal collection. After deliberating, I finally decided why not. As you can now see in my gallery is the 1st couple works of my own. They are actually older pieces of mine that I composed in pen & ink years back, but I recently adapted them in digital form. I am revealing them here for the 1st time & they are both available as prints for anyone who is interested.

Just a fast journal update to let you all know that a bigger one is to follow very soon. I just recieved a good stack of custom recreations & commissions that I was having done for myself and as soon as I get my items together and photographed, I'll be posting up a nice big new update with some great stuff. Plus, I have another special commission on the way as well that may arrive any day now & could be posted here at the same time.
